Graduate Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a graduate, who is considering a career in teaching and studying a specialism in Primary Teaching, Music, Design Technology, Drama or Sport to work for a year at our school. The role will encompass providing support in the classroom, helping to look after a form pastorally and at the beginnings and ends of the day, helping out with duties at break times and, if desired, a small amount of supported teaching.

Candidates with interests and strengths and interests in extra-curricular learning activities would be particularly encouraged to apply. It may be possible for the right candidate to extend the contract into a second year with a PGCE programme supported by the school. Single accommodation may be available in return for assistance with boarding duties including some weekend working.
