Cranleigh School seeks to appoint, for September 2020, a strong honours graduate to teach Design Engineering.

We are looking for an energetic character who can effectively communicate their enthusiasm for Design Engineering and bring some humour as well as subject knowledge with them. The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of and a real enthusiasm for Design Engineering and is likely to hold a good honours degree in Design Engineering (or related subjects).

This post would equally suit someone who is looking to start a career in the subject, or someone who already has experience in the teaching profession. The successful candidate will teach classes in Design Engineering from years 9 to 13 in a lively, ambitious and successful Department, as well as taking a full part in the life of this busy and friendly boarding school.

He or she will wish to fully engage in the life of this busy boarding school including acting as a tutor to a group of students within a House and all teachers are expected to contribute to the School’s co-curricular programme and co-curricular activities alongside their academic responsibilities.
