WMG Academy for Young Engineers, Solihull
About this Organisation
Our aim is for our students to leave at the age of 16 or 18 with apprenticeships, jobs, university places or college courses.
WMG Academy works closely with the University of Warwick and businesses to provide an education that is interesting, engaging and useful in the world of work.
Life skills
Students learn life skills such as public speaking, interview techniques and presentation skills, alongside GCSEs, A-levels and technical qualifications.
They are offered continuing opportunities to meet and work with some of the biggest national and global companies, including JLR, Aston Martin, Balfour Beatty, Arup, and National Grid.
Get set for life
WMG Academy aims to send students into the world with a professional attitude, an understanding of business and a mature approach to work.
Our ‘business-like, business-led’ ethos gives students a headstart. Employers pay for apprentices to study and work, with many commanding generous starting salaries in secure industries.
